Family Therapy

Family therapy is therapy for two or more members of a family to work out issues within a household or in a family unit. At times, families may need a little help and emotional support navigating difficult times or working through destructive or toxic patterns. Some common issues to bring to family therapy include:

  • Parenting support for parents and children managing particular behaviours
  • Grief support for family members who have lost a loved one or pet
  • Support and Guidance for children and parents on school matters including: truancy, disrespect, behaviours, adhd management, IEP guidance, school-family communication, etc.
  • Adult family members working through long standing destructive communication patterns
